Ogilvy on Advertising
This is an excelent book on advertising. A must read for anyone who spends money on advertising on radio, newspapers or television.
Ogilvy started with nothing and eneded up with one of the worlds largest advertising companies. Although his time was before adwords and internet marketing – his insights into what works for traditional advertising are presented in a factual, no-nonsense and interesting way.
One or two chapters are geared toward people who wish to work in advertising – but the remainder of the book if packed full of examples of good advertisements along with detailed explanations. 10 out of 10.
