Learning Outcomes
The objective of this lesson is for the student to understand how businesses compete and profit online – as well as the fundamental operations of an online business.
Students will learn how online technologies are used to achieve key business objectives and about the various online business models that are used to generate revenue online (including cost and other development considerations).
Finally, students are introduced to the software they will use to develop their website: WordPress.
Activities
This lesson is theory-based and involved approximatley 1 hour of reading. While reading however students are encouraged to consider which technologies and e-business models may be appropriate for their project.
