How to Add HTML Tables to WordPress

For some reason, WordPress does not support adding tables via the text editor.

Here is a very handy way of getting around this problem – should you find yourself trying to add a table to your WordPress post or page.

This trick allows you to simply create your table in MS Word or MS Excel, Convert it directly into clean HTML – and simply paste it into to your page using the text editor.

To add a HTML table to WordPress simply follow these instruction:

1. Create your table in MS Word or MS Excel
2. Use this very handy online tool
3. Copy and Paste your table into the tool
4. Choose the color and font you want your table to be before hitting the ‘tableize it!’ button
   On the next page will now be able to see a) what your table looks like and b) the html you need to paste into your page or post

5. Finally, open the page or post you wish to edit, select the HTML view in the text editor – and paste in the html you copied from the tableized website

And that’s one easy way how you can add a HTML table to your WordPress Page or Post.
